The kids are in a private school (school just started Summer vacation and they only have their class lists) and one is in an orchestra but can't figure out the violin, so Error offers to teach her. She invites them over for chocolate cookies to get to know them and they meet her grandkids that she has custody of after their parents died in a car crash in their home country Italy and moved to The Kingdom of Manzanas Divinas to live with her. Error and Dream grow closer pretending to be married and learn more about each other. Error makes dumb decisions when panicked. Error doesn't know what that is but said they are in his panic, Dream is about to die of embarrassment. When they are fixing up their house they meet the nice old lady next door that mistakes them for a married couple. Cuddling Dream is fine as long as he starts it or Dream asks first. Error has a new fear of unexpected touch from becoming blind now, not just touch in general. Error is like, Papyrus tall and Dream is a foot or two shorter than him, so it's a good cuddle pile in Error’s mind. They get a small one bedroom house together with Dream's gold, they only have one bed but Dream hates sleeping alone and Error misses the cuddle piles the gang did and sees nothing weird about two grown monsters sleeping together. King Nightmare never gave up the hope of finding them and despite the actions of the human rebels he doesn't blame the other kingdom and the war ended with humans and monsters living in peace. General Error and Prince Dream were traveling to discuss a Peace Treaty with the humans when their caravan was attacked and they were taken prisoner by humans that didn't want the war to end, they were killed in a fire that overtook the rebels camp they were too injured to escape their cell/chains and their dust couldn't be found in the ashes leaving them as missing. This world's Nightmare turned the castle into a private school because his Dream always wanted to teach others and loved helping kids.

Error can't see his code screen anymore but Dream can, and so he helps Error learn about the world they are in now and add themselves to the code. They have to find a place to heal from the fight because Error got blinded by Ink’s last attack and has to be guided by Dream until he learns to sense the souls around him. Dream also has to help Error understand a lot of common things he never got to learn about with Ink keeping him busy all the time, but he doesn’t mind that part. Being in a completely different multiverse is just the icing on the cake right now. They still change their names and lay low to not be mistaken for the missing monsters.ĭream is taking this all poorly the supposed best friend just sent them to their apparent death, there was a balance that was never known about, his brother regrets what he did and still loves Dream, Error was keeping everyone alive, and the supposedly soulless ‘Destroyer of Worlds’ is being nice and even took the hit Ink aimed at Dream before they fell. Magic is a lot weaker now with the human monster war ending 1000 years ago, and their counterparts were a general and a prince that died years ago in the war but are considered missing by the military. In the void, Error and Dream are dropped in a singular multiverse with no creation or destruction. Nightmare’s gang and the ‘bad’ characters plan to go on killing sprees till the Multiverse dies for revenge. The ‘bad guys’ of the multiverse are angry at Ink for what he did. Nightmare is in pain when they fall because Dream ‘died’ and the balance is broken. Outer sees this from where he was hiding and goes to Blue and they tell Nightmare. Error takes the hit to protect Dream and they fall into the void with him hurt. The paint turns to chains and Ink hits them both into the Void.
Dream convinces Error to not jump and is next to him to offer comfort when Ink hits them with purple paint. Acting all worried, he tells Dream to try and get him from the edge. Ink and Dream arrive and see Error about to jump so Ink makes a new plan. He makes a plan to fight Error in a blank AU and follow him to Outertale knowing he goes there after the fight. Ink has no soul and Dream is getting suspicious so Ink plans to kill Dream and Error to keep being soulless a secret and keep playing with the multiverse. Ink knows about the multiverse being limited but treats it as a toy.
